Youth Week is an annual event occuring the first week of May. 

Youth Week is a time to celebrate youth. Events during youth week highlight the talents, initiatives, and leadership skills of young people. 

If you would like to organize an event during Youth Week, check out the resources we provide online, and contact us to let us know your ideas and plans.  YAN has organized Youth Week since 1995.  Each year we host the launch and closing celebration in Toronto, and we support initiatives of individuals and groups that bring Youth Week to communities throughout Canada.  Also, Youth Week is celebrated internationally, and YAN has collaborated with Youth Week organizers in countries around the world.

This year, in Toronto, Youth Week began with a film screening Launch Party and closed with This End Begins Show.  Other events through the week included a march and rally with No One Is Illegal, an evening of Painting in the Park to raise awareness of the Beautiful Cities Billboard Fees Campaign, and A Youth Video Awards Celebration called the Yammies.
